Bride

Before the wedding we meet for a trial run.
This is to discuss your hair and make-up requirements and allows us to try out different styles complimenting your dress and your accessories.

I travel to your home and will spend up to three hours with you. When you are happy with the final look we arrange the services you require, times, the numbers in your bridal party and the venue for the wedding day.

Hair and Make-up trial
£60 (allow upto 3 hrs)

Hair trial
£50 (approx 2 hrs)

Make-up trial
£40 approx 1½ hrs)

Make-up lesson
£50(approx 1½ hrs)

I make notes of the products and colours used and then I am able to recreate this all on your wedding day.
I use a variety of professional make-up products & do not stick to one particular brand. Many of the products I prefer to work with I discovered when working on magazine shoots and pop videos.

Products include:

Estee Lauder, Space NK, Cosmetic a la carte, MAC, Bourjois and Chanel.

If you have a favourite make-up item that you would like me to use, then I am more than happy to use it. The main aim of my service is to get you looking and feeling the best you can.

All hair products will be included – pins, grips, hair spray. I use a variety of products and especially like Paul Mitchell Hair care products.

All the bride is required to have is the veil, tiara and hair accessories, as this gives you a true representation of how you will look on the day.

Preparation for the trial

This is easy. Collect pictures and ideas from magazines and the internet that you would like to try.
If you see things you don't like - certain partings or back views then collect these as well, as sometimes this is just as helpful.

Be realistic - is your hair straight/thick or long enough for the styles you like? Select several photos to show & discuss at the trial, we have the opportunity to try a few out.
Remain open minded for the preliminary stage of the trial, you maybe surprised by the results!

Choose a style that will suit your face shape and that you feel comfortable with. Once you have decided to wear your hair up or down, the possibilities are endless.
Curls are soft and romantic as are pleats, plaits and buns. For a more contempory look consider spikes and twists, but stay true to your personality when choosing your hair style, you don’t want to look back at photos in years to come and cringe!
